Responsibilities:

Engage with customers to understand their residential building needs and recommend appropriate products.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, and homeowners.
Prepare and present quotes, ensuring competitive pricing and timely follow-up.
Manage inventory levels and assist in product ordering to meet customer demands.
Stay updated on industry trends and product offerings to provide informed recommendations.
Collaborate with the team to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
Conduct on-site visits to assess project needs and offer tailored solutions.

Requirements:

Proven experience in residential sales, preferably in the lumber or construction industry.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
Knowledge of building materials, construction techniques, and industry standards.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client visits.
